TypeApp combines rich capabilities through a simple design: letting you see the information you seek while enabling you to perform the actions required to process your emails.

You can use an account and filter picker, folder selection drawer, tabbed view for a traditional / people centric / task oriented or settings, bi-directional action swipes and More+ menu action to perform anything directly from the main view, active menus, floating action bars, tapping to dive into latest email, long tapping to multi-edit, image click to get into the cluster, synchronization status bar to track accounts and more. Our ongoing goal is to put all those goodies immediately available to you while maintaining our clean interface.

Impactful Design

We are all creatures of habits, so TypeApp fosters effective email habits letting you focus on the important things first. All the emails accessible with layered clusters. First glance allows you to see the bigger picture: what is happening in your inbox in a birds view and compact form. You then dive into a specific sender, group or service, and see all related conversations. Further deep dive lets you sift through all the specific emails getting all the details you need. The menus, images, swipes, and actions all serve the same purpose: putting all the power you need, literally at your fingertips, while letting you perform the workflows that meet your needs.

Conversations

All your incoming and outgoing emails are intelligently grouped into a conversation, so you have the full exchange of mails for that thread, sorted as you like it, and clearly identifying your sent and received emails with avatars. The subject, total email count and email previews let you get the big picture quickly.

Handling all emails for a given conversation is simple and easy. You can use the menu to delete, archive, or mark a conversation as read. Grouping both Inbox and Sent emails together, makes everything conveniently accessible in one place.

Compact and Relevant

Every new email arriving into your inbox will appear in its cluster and will bring the cluster to the top of your mail view – so you are always on top of your opportunities: Groupon’s daily meal, new eBay deals or even your bank’s monthly Bill. Clusters are made to be simple, yet still give you all of the important information you need, such as how many unread emails are in that cluster or if the email has been marked urgent.

Act on a Full Cluster

Clustering’s most powerful trait is helping you act on all emails in one simple action, keeping you focused. You can mute notifications for a cluster, to avoid alerting you on emails you need only for reference, delete all emails for that cluster / sender, or mark them all read. You can also act on all emails using multi-edit in the same way you can for other groups of emails, to maximize your efficiency.

Some of your emails can be easily converted to tasks, and when you get a new email you can set the right time and context for you to handle it. You will get automatic reminder, as well as be able to prioritize your tasks by urgency.

To mark emails for later, swipe and use Later action to select the right time of the reminder for this task, from later today, to someday in the distant future or any predefined exact date and time. If this mail has been handled you can mark it as done and it will no longer appear in your Incoming inbox view, so you can focus only on the things that matter.
